DIRECTIONS FOR USE: ELLIPTA INHALER™
Before injecting yourself, draw the medication from a vial following these simple steps:
- Slide the protective cover down until a “CLICK” is heard.
- Avoid opening the cover until you are prepared to take a dose.
- Opening and closing the cover without inhaling the product will result in the loss of the dose.
- Hold the inhaler away for your mouth and breathe out deeply.
- Position the inhaler between your lips and firmly close your lips around the mouthpiece.
- Inhale deeply and steadily, holding your breath for as long as you can.
- Remove the inhaler from your mouth.
- If you wish to clean the inhaler, simply wipe the outside of the mouthpiece with a tissue.
- Replace the protective cap before putting the inhaler away.
- The Ellipta device is equipped with a dose counter. It will count down by 1 every time the cover is opened.
